I found this (wrinkly, sorry) dress at my favorite Arc- and to be honest I actually grabbed it with a friend in mind but once I tried it on (you know, to check how it works off the hanger! Because I'm such a good friend!) it was too late. It was mine. And it ended up being my New Year's dress. It came buttonless when I bought it, so I added these silver crosshatched ones myself.

I cannot take hunting credit for this one- it's all Melina. Best Christmas present ever? Maybe! It's so great that it kind of makes me feel bad that I got her ramekins. But they were milkglass! And she collects milkglass! Oh fine, you win this round, lady.




And I forgot to include my pocketbook in my round of up Amsterdam thrift finds. I love this thing. I don't even care that it's dirty, so much, although maybe that's more a product of laziness than Highly Developed Artistic Eye. And I'm also pretty sure everyone thinks my 80s beaded purse (which I also wore on NYE) is hideous (I know my boyfriend does!) but maybe they need to work on their Highly Developed Artist Eye as well. So there.
